Hope Lake Lodge and Cascade Water Park

We were able to get a pretty good deal on this place through Groupon. It is in the mountains so it is beautiful and is popular for skiing in the winter.
Our space was pretty big. The girls had their own den with bunk beds and a tv, then we had a living room with a fireplace and a table and couch, we also had a complete kitchen and a master bedroom. Overall it was a very nice place.

There was a kid area where kids could play, do crafts and get their face painted.
(Laneah wanted to be a wolf, howling at the moon)
But the biggest draw for the kids was the water park. And the best part for me was that it was heated! They had a few big slides, a big pool, a sports area, a kids play house area, and a wave pool.

Sawyer is my water baby so he had a great time splashing in the water.

They also had an arcade that was fun for all kids, including Jason ;)

Back at the kids club making necklaces.
Laneah very sweetly made matching dolphin necklaces for her and I.
The lobby of the lodge was very large and open and cozy.
They had a little loft with some stuffed animals that the girls liked.
Near the hotel was an activity center that has a mountain coaster. Laneah really wanted to go. Brooklyn wasn't big enough, so we got her passes to do the moon bounce and rock wall while Laneah took turns with Jason and I on the mountain coaster.

The mountain coaster was pretty fun. It went faster than I thought it would.

Another face paint, this time wonder woman.
Wonder woman and I took a walk around the outside of the property. They have a big lake that you can swim and canoe and paddle boat in and I wanted to see it.
We saw the lake from a distance, but never had the time to go.
The girls wanted to go back to the water park though.

Brooklyn would go on the two person inner tube slide with Jason or I, but wouldn't go on the other three that were individual slides.  But in typical Brooklyn fashion, she finally, last minute, decided to try it and loved it. Laneah and Brooklyn went down the slides probably 30 times in 30 minutes (there were no waits there, which was awesome)!

Sadly we had to go home, but to good things, my mom was coming to visit and we had Sawyer's 1st birthday to celebrate. On the way home we had to stop in Scranton just because Jason and I loved The Office so much. We didn't stay long, but we drove right through it so we made a quick stop at the Steamtown Mall. Oh the memories of Scranton, lol.

It was a quick, but really fun and jam packed trip.
