Palmyra

The next day we went to Palmyra for a half day trip. On the way we spotted a cloud that looked like a man praying on his knees.

We started at the visitors center 

And then hiked up to the Hill of Cumorah

Then we visited the Smith's farmhouse before taking the short walk to the Sacred Grove

We found a bench and sat down and listened to a song about the First Vision. 

It wasn't quite the experience I had hoped it would be because it was incredibly hot so the girls were miserable and anxious to get back to the hotel's waterpark, but I think it was still a good thing and I am glad we were able to do it.
