September

September is nice because the weather is still warm and the kids are in school;) The big kids at least.
Bowling with grandmom

A sunset view from when I was working on a boat.
We took the kids to a compassion experience where you follow the true story of kids who lived in 3rd world countries. I want the kids to not only appreciate what they have, but to have compassion and the desire to help others.
The girls started their dance classes at C&C. Brooklyn is doing ballet and tumbling and Laneah is doing an acrobatics class.
We did a service project through our stake. We went to a humanitarian farm that's sole purpose is to feed those in need. We sorted corn and painted fences. Other people did other needed things around the farm as well. There were lots of animals that the kids could see, and a few that they could pet as well, which was great for Sawyer.

We went to the back to school ice cream social and the girls were excited to see their friends.
Brooklyn looking cute.
In Kindergarten, they do a big thing for Johnny Appleseed day and all their centers revolve around different apple activities. In one they even make applesauce. I was able to go in and volunteer for the centers and it was a lot of fun.

Jason's grandmother was diagnosed with cancer in her spine and doesn't want to take any treatment. She lives in Virginia and so we planned a time to go visit with her. It was great to see her and talk with her and PopPop. Sawyer loved their dog and laughed and played with her the whole time.

With school and Jason and I working, plus Brooklyn's soccer and other activities, September was a very busy month.
