Preschool Graduation

Brooklyn had her preschool graduation June 15th. We went out to eat first to celebrate, and Brooklyn chose Newks.

When we got to the church, Ms Laura had it all set up with pictures and other cute decorations. Each of the kids made the cover of the program for their family. This was Brooklyns.
Walking to the primary room, each child had their "star of fame" with their handprints.

Ms Laura had also taken pictures of the kids holding signs of what they want to be when they grow up and had them framed.
The program was really cute. The kids going on to kindergarten got to wear graduation robes and hats. The kids sang songs and each got a turn telling what their favorite part of preschool was. Brooklyn said her favorite was Moms and Muffins day because her mom got to come in and she got to eat muffins. She makes my heart happy. Each child got an award and then a diploma. And then Ms Laura showed us a slideshow that made us all tear up it was so sweet.

Brooklyn's award was "Kindest Helper". Ms Laura said Brooklyn was always willing to help, and always made sure that no one felt left out. If anyone was sad, she would give them a toy, or try to play with them to make them feel better.

Lottie, Sidney and Brooklyn.

The whole family
And the preschool grad!!!
With her diploma. All grown up and finished with preschool. (Insert a few more tears)
On to the next adventure! As sad as I am that she is going into kindergarten, after 4 consecutive years of preschool (2 for Laneah, then 2 for Brooklyn), I am glad to take a break from it for a while. I hope Ms Laura is still teaching when Sawyer goes. Brooklyn loved her teacher and preschool and all her friends. I hope she loves kindergarten too.
