Ladybugs

The girls got a lady bug kit for Christmas. When it started to get warm, I ordered the lady bug larva. Laneah was super excited when it came. She opened the tube and put the larva in lady bug land. 

The top is a magnifying glass so you can study them.

We watched them change and grow and after some weeks, they became adult lady bugs and we released them in our yard by the garden. 

Some of the lady bugs crawled around on the girls before flying away. It was a good science experiment and since we have lady bug land, we can do it again next year if we want.
