So You Think You Can Dance Live Tour 2011

I had the incredible opportunity to go to see the So You Think You Can Dance live tour. It was amazing. I went with my best friends: Kami, Teresa and Jessica. We all love the show and this season we took turns watching the episodes at each other's houses as often as we could.
This season was amazing and so we decided to go to the live tour. And we will be going every year from now on. These dancers are phenomenal and you could feel their energy. As you can see, one dancer is missing. Marko was injured a couple days before. I was so bummed, he was my favorite guy, but the show went on and it was fantastic!

 Tadd and Caitlin's beautiful waltz.
 Jordan
Nick (Marko's stand in and the first tap dancer I have ever liked on the show) and Jess in a tap number.
The circus dance, that I never cared for until I saw it in person.
Melanie preformed the statue dance by herself and it still left me speechless. It was breathtaking.
Jess and Clarice in the just the way you are dance. Love it.
 The jail dance.
The get it on dance. Twitch wasn't there but it was still awesome.
 Jess' solo.
Sasha and Mitchell in the wall dance.
 Tadd's solo
Melanie's solo. It was the most beautiful dance I had ever seen. I am embarrassed to say that I cried, but it was so touching. She definitely deserved to win.
 10s across the board!
Sasha and Melanie in the power dance.
And then sadly it was the finale.
I know, picture overload, but I want them in my blog book so they go on the blog. Plus I thought they turned out really well. Can you believe that I also have a ton of video? But alas, Blogger only allows up to 100 MB and all my videos were above that.

We thought we were leaving. I had been thinking about getting a t-shirt the whole time and then finally did. We walked outside and found out that the dancers were going to come out to sign items and say hi and take pictures. We waited almost an hour but it was worth the wait.
The guy in the picture with the beard came up and took my shirt and then proceeded to take it to ALL of the dancers to sign. I was so excited. He didn't do it for anyone else either so I felt super lucky. Here Melanie is signing my shirt.
Ricky told us that he loved us, somehow I didn't get a snapshot of him. His solo was amazing too. The beautiful Caitlin
We were on a real high and danced our way home. I can't wait for next year!!!!!

I saw this live a few years ago. It's incredibly on TV, but doesn't compare to what it's like live. SO glad you had a great girls night out doing this!
