Daytona

On Wednesday we took a day trip to Daytona Beach. The weather wasn't great but we got really lucky because it stopped storming right when we got there and then started again right after we left a couple of hours later. There had been thunder and lightning so the beach was closed but opened back up a few minutes after we arrived. The great thing about Daytona is that you park right on the beach, so it isn't a big hassle getting all your stuff from your car to the beach. The bad part was that the water was cold! The girls didn't mind though. I had gotten a cold from Jason and I felt the worst that day so I mostly just laid on the beach wrapped up in a towel because it was a little chilly. The storm had left a big canal of water going into the water and it was the perfect place for Brooklyn to play. The water in there was from the storm so it was actually warm unlike the ocean. Laneah just jumped right into the water as usual. The girls loved having everyone there to play with them at the beach.
