Christmas

We drove to St Louis this year for Christmas. It was an adventure! It was a long drive, but well worth it. We got to see my parents, and two of my brothers; Alex and Andrew. The girls were in heaven.

Christmas Even we had a yummy dinner and our Christmas story and then the moment the girls had been waiting for; the choosing and opening of one gift.

Laneah opened her gift from Jason and I which was a Kidz Bop rock star microphone with a stand; a rock star jacket, and tickets to her concert. The girls couldn't wait and put on a concert right then and there.

Before bed Laneah put out cookies and milk and a note for Santa, and carrots for the reindeer.
When she woke up, Santa had eaten the cookies and milk and left a thank you note!
Before the destruction:)
Brooklyn got a puzzle, a princess lego set, a tutu, dress up shoes, jewelry, Madagascar 3, a baby Cinderella doll, a baby stroller and tons more.

Laneah got a Merida nightgown, Barbie turn tables, a Barbie purse, The Lorax, a remote control car, and more.

As soon as Brooklyn saw her tutu she had to wear it.

And my favorite picture of the day!
We got to skype with my sister and her husband and my brother Jacob and his new fiance (he proposed Christmas Eve and told us when we were skyping) Norma. We were all very excited. It was a great Christmas.

Does "it was an adventure" mean what I think it means? :) Watching your kids get excited over Christmas is about one of the best sights. It makes the whole day so magical, and it will seriously break my heart when they stop believing. I would have loved to have seen Laneah's impromptu concert and Brooklyn stopping the show to put on her tutu. What a great Christmas.
