Laneah's Brave Birthday Party

Laneah had her friend party at noon. She invited three friends over; Maddie, Scarlette and Ezra.
We started off making crafts and then had a lunch a yummy pizza.
Then we played games. The first game we played was musical bears. I bought each of the girls a Brave bear from the Disney store as a party favor in addition to the cups. I put the bears in center except for one and the girls had to walk in a circle while the music played and when it stopped they each had to grab a bear. The girl without a bear was out but got to keep the extra bear I was holding. The girls also took turns shooting the bow and arrows. Laneah loved her new bow and arrow set and practiced until she got her first bulls eye.
I love the determined look on her face.
We also learned a Scottish dance, and played a game where the girls had to keep the wisps(this time, blue balloons) in the air.
Then it was time for cake. Laneah was worried she would catch her hair on fire so it took her a while to blow out all the candles.
I saved the cake for the family party that night and let the girls dig into the cupcakes and Scottish cookies.
Then it was present time!!! Laneah had been begging me to let her open presents since the party started.
Laneah got a Merida blanket with her name on it, a Brave magi clip play set, drawing supplies, Princess Yatzee, lip gloss and a best friend necklace.

Ezra and Laneah showing off their "best friend" necklaces. So sweet!

While the grown ups talked, the girls went upstairs to play. We found them all in talking and hanging out in Laneah's top bunk. It was so cute!
Later that night we had her family party. All her aunts and uncles and family that live close by came over and we had a full house. Laneah was very happy to see everyone and open more presents;)

Then we sang "happy birthday" and blew out candles and had cake and ice cream.

Laneah had lots of fun at her parties. It was a long day but nice to have it all done in one day.

You did such a great job on her party! When Laneah was here she told me you are the best mommy ever because you gave her the best party ever!
