Digging Out

Maybe it doesn't help that I despise winter, but this year I feel like I live in freakin Antarctica! I hate the cold and as pretty as snow is when it is falling, it quickly turns into a slushy gray mess. Anyway, we have already broken a hundred year record for snowfall in a winter here. This weekend alone we got over 3 feet of snow! It also doesn't help that I am dying to go to Phoenix to pick up my baby and the airport has been closed for three straight days! It finally stopped snowing last night. Thank goodness we still have power. It flickered a couple times yesterday, but stayed strong, bless it. So we are digging out, so we can get to Phoenix tomorrow! Here are some pictures of the aftermath.

This is right outside our front door. We literally had to dig out.
Laneah running through the snow. It actually came up to her neck. She is standing on some snow here.

Please! No more snow!!!

Stop snowing so the Carters can bring home their baby! I hope that you're in Phoenix as I'm typing this, and that you're holding your beautiful new baby girl.
