Fort McHenry and Baltimore Inner Harbor

After church we headed to Baltimore to check out Fort McHenry, which is famous for the war of 1812 and where Francis Scott Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner.

You start off watching a video about the war and the song, and then the curtains open to the fort, flag, and they play the National Anthem.
Then you can explore the fort. They have some people dressed up as Colonials, and when we were there they had a fife and colonial war time band as well.

After Ft McHenry, we went to Baltimore's Inner Harbor to walk around. Sawyer passed out in the car and stayed asleep for a while even when we put him in the stroller.

We found a cute little park tucked away and the kids played for a while.

We grabbed some food and walked for a little bit and then went back home to hang out some more. We all enjoy history so it was an exciting day.
