Fishing, mini golf, Baytowne Wharf, and birthdays

The place we stayed at had a pier and docking station for boats. You could even call for a water taxi. There was fishing gear on the bottom deck so the kids, especially Laneah spent some time fishing every day.

One of the nights we were there we went to Baytowne wharf. They had games, live music and fireworks.
The sidewalk was made with cement and seashells.

Watching the fireworks.

The boys all went on a deep sea fishing trip and caught a ton of fish. Then they went to this place on the docks that cooked some of the their fish. They brought home some and it was super yummy.

We had to do beach mini golf, because that is part of the whole experience right? Sawyer stayed at the house with my parents, and Laneah didn't want to go so Brooklyn came with Jason, Alex and I. I don't think she minded having three adults at her beck and call;)

While we were there, my brother Jake had his birthday so we went to his favorite dinner place. There was a really long wait, so we got appetizers and drinks outside. Virgin Pina Coloada? Don't mind if I do.
Since Alex (July 7th) and Jason (July 3rd) also just had their birthdays right before the trip, we had a big birthday party and had a cookout and some birthday treats.
It was great being able to celebrate with family.
