Snow

We haven't had much snow here so far, and what little we've had either didn't stick or melted quickly. Laneah loves snow though, so she takes what she can get. Last week had surprise flurries. It wasn't in the forecast but when I looked outside it was snowing. It was my favorite type of snow; the thick fluffy snowflakes. You can see in some of the pictures how big the snowflakes were. So I bundled the girls up and we went outside to play while the snow was falling.

Laneah jumped right in trying to catch snowflakes.

Brooklyn was a little more hesitant. She took off her glove to feel the snowflakes.
And then, since she has to copy everything Laneah does, she decided to see what the snowflakes tasted like and out went the tongue.

It was still snowing when Jason got home so he took Laneah out again. It was really cold and Brooklyn wouldn't keep her mittens on so she stayed inside. Laneah and Jason built a "snowman" with the limited amount of snow on the ground. Why they used carrots for the eyes when we had olives I will never know, but it is still cute since Laneah helped make it.
I know Laneah is dying for more snow but I am ready for spring:)
