Laneah's Bounce Party

For Laneah's 4th birthday, we celebrated at the Ultimate Playzone, which has several bounce play stations, an indoor pirate ship with a slide and an art room. The great part was that they did almost everything. They did the set up, clean up and even gave me invitations. The only thing I had to do was the cake and favors. Laneah wanted an Ariel cake and I decided to make cupcakes and a small cake. It was fun, but still took a lot of time. Between Wednesday and Thursday I spent about 10 hours baking and decorating. On Wednesday I made the chocolate shells and on Thursday I baked the cupcakes and cake and put it all together. I used light brown sugar for the sand and a color mist spray to make the frosting blue. I was happy with the way the turned out, plus they were really yummy!
The cake turned out cute as well. I did pretty much the same thing but put and Ariel candle on top and a Flounder toy. For the coral I ended up using pink rock candy. And the most important thing was that Laneah loved it.

I ordered her outfit from Etsy like always. As you can tell, it's adorable so we took a few photos before we left for the party. Laneah was so anxious to go.

When we got there they had this huge bin for everyone to put their gifts in.

Laneah was overwhelmed at first when everyone arrived, but once the kids got inside they were everywhere and having the time of their lives.

Brooklyn was all over the place too. I had Jason run after her so I could stay with Laneah so I only saw her a few times.

After an hour of playing, it was time for pizza and cake.
Laneah was ready to eat after burning so many calories jumping and running.

When everyone finished their pizza, it was time for cake. Laneah did a good job blowing out her candles.

Then it was time to go home. Laneah was dying to open her huge bag of presents. It took almost an hour to open everything because she got so much. Jason and I got her a Leap Pad.

When she opened the Barbie convertible she couldn't stop screaming from joy, it was the cutest thing. I can't wait for Christmas, she is going to be so much fun.

The party was a success and Laneah was very happy with it. And this lucky duck gets a second party at her Nana and Papa's house on her actual birthday.

What a party! 10 hours baking??? You rock! I spend 15 minutes picking out a cake at the bakery I love, and that's it for me. :) As always, she looked adorable, and you did a fabulous job putting together a great party for your little sweetheart. Happy Birthday, Laneah!
