Destin Day 3 & 4

Day 3 was another rainy day (we braved the beach, but it rained on us) so we just hung out, ate and the kids played with the dogs.

Day 4 wasn't as rainy, just really dark and cloudy with off and on rain so we headed to the beach.

Sawyer and Jason built some sandcastles. Because of the storm, the surf was great and there were some big waves. Sawyer is really into batman (see his sunglasses) and he kept calling the big waves "batman waves". Brooklyn and Laneah loved playing in the big ways; the bigger the better. Brooklyn was cracking us up, saying things like "that was a classic" and "Yay! Bigger waves, my wish came true"!

The sun never came to play, but it didn't rain, so it was an improvement. After the beach, we played at Jake's house. His backyard is on an inlet and the kids had a lot of fun pulling hermit crabs out of the water and racing them. 

Sawyer really likes to hang onto people's legs and be dragged. It's a fun game for Uncles 😂

Laneah loves playing with her younger nephews. 

For dinner we ate at Mellow Mushroom. 

It is great to be with family and nice to have better weather.
