Apple Picking

My parents and my brother Alex came to visit and for labor day we went to visit my sister's family in Winchester, VA. One day we went to pick apples at Marker-Miller Orchards. The weather was nice and there were lots of yummy apples ripe for picking. 

They had a fun playground on the farm. 

The girls had lots of fun picking the apples. 

The inside barn had a few games and lots of fresh farm produce, breads and desserts. 

My adorable nephew, Benjamin. 

Once we got home, I made apple butter and applesauce with all our apples. Delicious!
