Bowie Baysox and adoption day

Our girls get an extra birthday celebration in our house because we celebrate their adoption day as well as their actual birthdays. For Laneah's adoption day (on June 24) we let her choose where she wanted to go. She chose Chick Fil-A for dinner of course, and then a Bowie Baysox game with fireworks.
She was so excited to meet the mascot Louie. She talked about him throughout the whole game.
The ball park had a kids play area with a carousel. The guy let parents and babies ride free so Brooklyn got to ride as much as she wanted. She was in heaven.
Laneah wanted to do all the games. She loved hitting the ball and I was amazed at how well she did. She hit all of the balls and hit them forward (we saw a lot of kids hit them backwards while in line)

She also threw well.
We got some snacks and watched the game for a little while.
Brooklyn had fun running around through the bleachers. Always with the tongue sticking out:)

You have to have a hat at a baseball game.

Back to the kids area again:)

At the end of the game they had a fireworks show which was surprising long and good. Both of the girls liked it. Laneah kept yelling "wow!" and clapping. Brooklyn was holding onto me pretty tight but she kept saying "ooo". It was adorable. It was overall a fun night and it was great celebrating our little family:) We are so happy Laneah is a part of it.

That's so neat that you celebrate both days. I love Brooklyn's hair in pig tails! I'm guessing you weren't able to actually enjoy much of the game, right? :)

My heart turns to the great love and joy we have with Laneah and Brooklyn in our life! Also my heart turns to the two beautiful Birth Mothers! I admire them both so much for their unselfishness and their courage!
