Welcome Fall

Finally the weather has cooled down! This summer was horrible with lots of oppressive heat and humidity. I have never been glad for summer to end until this year. So welcome Fall! Today we went to a Fall Festival. I love this festival because it is all free and so much fun.

First we saw a Magic Show,. and the Magician was actually really funny. I was surprised, but Laneah sat there and was really into it, she watched the whole thing while eating her popcorn. On his last trick, he made a bunny appear and Laneah jumped out of her chair and ran up to see it up close. After the Magic Show, we went for pony rides.

Laneah is a pro at these now, but little Brooklyn had her first ride with daddy's help. She loved it.
The girls also got to pet a baby pony.

Then Laneah went into the animal pen. They had goats, a huge dog and some ducks. Laneah loves animals, you can see the pure joy in her face in this picture.
Laneah went on the moon bounce and little Brooklyn was entertained by daddy throwing her in the air.

Then we went to the children's tent where there were bubbles, crafts, candy and all kinds of games. Laneah got her face painted first with a butterfly and then played games.

We had a yummy (and free, gotta love it!) lunch of hot dogs, chips and Ritas Italian Ice. Laneah explored an old fire truck and then rode the pony again.

Brooklyn enjoyed the view of the festival from daddy's shoulders.

We are thrilled that Fall is here and can't wait until next year's festival.
