NYC- St Patricks Cathedral, High Line Park, Chelsea Market

Since we finished the Top of the Rock pretty quick, we walked over to St Patrick's cathedral. It is unbelievably gorgeous inside.

We also walked down 5th avenue, but we were good and didn't shop.

We hopped on the metro to Highline Park.

The ceiling in one of the metro stations.
HIghline park is just a nice walking path. It is an abandoned train line that the city converted into a park. The cool part is that it goes over parts of the city and has some nice views, with several stairs in spots to get off or on the walking path. If I lived here, I would like to walk this (or maybe not with all the tourists). But overall, I felt like it was a little boring and wouldn't do it again if I came back to visit.

You could see some original tracks in the ground.
We stopped at Chelsea Market for browsing and for lunch.

We got tacos at a yummy little Mexican place.
After lunch we headed over to Central Park.
