Imagination Bethesda

On Saturday June 1st, we met up with my sister and brother-in-law in Bethesda for the Imagination Bethesda children's street festival. There were several blocks packed full of tents with all kinds of activities for the kids to do. Everything was free except the food vendors. They even had concerts and performances all throughout the day. When we first arrived, the girls were given balloons and we got a "yee-haw" from a cowboy sheriff on stilts.

The first tent we went into was for a music school. Laneah tried every single instrument. She loves music.

In another booth, the kids got to plant flowers in a flower pot.

Here they are making play dough cupcakes that were scented and smelled like cupcakes too.
Brooklyn gave her cupcake to Jason.
They had face painting and Laneah wanted to get this dragon on her arm.
Brooklyn chose a princess tiara.
Brooklyn and I made this carousel while Laneah made a lollipop.

It was a fun festival, it was just incredibly hot. We didn't stay more than a few hours because of the heat but it was awesome to find another fun, free activity to do.
