Disney World Resorts

After a rough plane ride, we made it to the Orlando airport. The girls were so excited. They saw some Disney World advertisements and statues and went crazy.

Brooklyn was highly concerned about the sticky mess but was ok once she realized it was fake.

At the airport we were whisked away to Disney World by the magic bus which was great. Since we were staying on the Disney Resort, they picked us up from the airport and we didn't even have to get our bags from the baggage claim; Disney picked them up and delivered them directly to our room at the resort! We stayed in the Royal Guest Room at the Port Orleans Riverside resort. They just opened these rooms in March so they were really nice. We got a letter from Princess Tiana at arrival.
Everyone was so nice; all our doors were opened, everyone was friendly and smiling and my girls got stickers in abundance. Our room was small but beautiful. It featured headboards with a fiber optic firework display, a magic carpet, genie lamp sinks, a vanity and lots of pictures of the princesses. The girls loved all of it. Laneah said "no one is allowed in this room except Mickey Mouse!" and then put most of her stickers on the door to finalize her proclamation.

Laneah sat down and said she was going to go on a magic carpet ride.

We met up with my brother Alex, who works at Disney and got us awesome deals, at the resort. The resort had several activities a day and had 6 separate pools; one of which was practically outside our door. The main pool had parties every day. They also had free movies every night, a huge eating area, carriage rides and a campfire with marshmallows every night to name a few of the things they offered. We were on the Disney dining plan which I highly recommend, it saved us so much money. After getting settled in the hotel we headed off to the main pool.
Laneah was brave and went down the water slide several times.
 The back of the eatery.
Alex got the girls really cute Minnie Mouse sunglasses.
We went to the Polynesian resort for dinner and Dole whip. This was another beautiful resort and inside the lobby I could easily believe I was in Hawaii.

The Dole whip was really good; I liked the swirl with the pineapple and vanilla.

The Polynesian resort had a great pool with a volcano water slide and a little beach area with sand, hammocks and a swing.

The girls were so happy to see Uncle Alex.

When we got back to our resort, we went to the campfire to roast marshmallows. Brooklyn liked roasting them, but she would only eat the non cooked marshmallows.

By the time we finished eating marshmallows it was getting late and so we went back to the room to get some sleep for our next day at Disney!!!!

Alex is so amazing! I'm so glad he was able to make Brooklyn's and Laneah's dreams come true!
