March

We had some more nice weather and then some snow and cold snaps. Lots of flowers and trees bloomed before the cold and then died. There were still some pretty blossoms that survived though.
The kids had Dr Suess day at school.

A fun girls night at Cheesecake factory.

Watching Brooklyn through the window at dance.
Texas Sheet Cake. So yummy!

Brooklyn went to her friend Avonlea's birthday party at the American Girl Doll store.

Brooklyn bringing me breakfast in bed. She is such a thoughtful, caring child.
Cheesy potato soup for the cold days.
Dinner at Mi Casita.

Sweet notes from my girls.

Sawyer playing with his little friend Emmett.
Brooklyn at her field trip to skate zone.

We celebrated 30 days until the Disney Cruise with "palm trees", virgin Pina coladas, and Mickey gear. We watched a special they did on the travel channel about the Disney Magic.

Laneah went to a birthday party and came home with this beautiful face paint.
The girls and I welcomed spring by making popcorn balls.

I got to see some DC cherry blossoms on my way to a job at the Red Cross.
Some stained glass at the Red Cross building.

Enjoying a spring walk with my Laneah.

I love when the flowers and trees start to bloom!

Science Center

We used our family pass to go to the Science Center. We went to the crafting area and the girls made some dream catchers and then used the peg boards to make some shapes.

We spent a lot of time in the kids area dressing up, playing with trains, fake bugs and the water tables.

I took Laneah to the lab, which is for 3rd grade and up. We did an experiment using DNA to solve the puzzle of which baby belonged to which parents after a hospital mix up.

We love going to the Science Center.
