May

By May, my garden is always blooming.
This was a beautiful centerpiece at an anniversary party I catered.
Drew and Makilia arrived for the summer and brought their new hedgehog, Howie.
The kids all held him. He kept trying to burrow in their clothes.

Laneah went to a fun painting birthday party.

We celebrated my birthday with fresh strawberry shortcake. My birthday was on a Sunday this year, so we didn't do anything. And I must have ate something at work the night before because I broke into horrible itchy hives that lasted all day head to toe even with Benadryl. But the shortcake was yummy!
The Crofton Farmer's Market opened and we went to check it out. Sawyer got his first full face paint and did so great! He wanted to be Spiderman.

Laneah wanted to be a cat. Brooklyn wanted to play with her friends and ran off to the playground.

After family pictures we went to Firehouse for dinner and then met up with the Sister missionaries at Rita's for dessert to say goodbye since one of them was being transferred.

Sawyer offering his sisters some rare affection at school pick up. 💕
Brookie at the park.
We are in the process of redoing of master bathroom.
We had a girls night out for Kami's baby shower to get pedicures and dinner. There was a crazy thunderstorm with wind, rain, lightning and flash flooding while we were there and when we left the water was up past our ankles! One of Kami's shoes fell of and she had to snatch it before it floated away. 😂 It was a fun night.

Beautiful Kami pregnant with number 5.

We had a yummy dinner at Mama Romas.
I tried this new ice cream and am obsessed.
I worked a couple of Blue Angels parties and got some good views.

We went and picked more strawberries near the end of May before the end of the season.

We went to Six Flags.

We got to spend some time with Drew and Makilia and the kids loved Drew dragging them around and rough housing.

For Memorial Day we went to Drew's pool (from the apartment he was staying at for the summer) and then a BBQ at Brandon's work (where Drew works).

Sawyer had so much fun playing baseball and running around.
All the kids were excited to see their cousins.

On the way home we saw a beautiful sunset over this American Flag. I'm so grateful for the people who have fought and protected this amazing country.
That's a wrap May!
