Highlights from February:

The door I made for Brooklyn's classroom.

I found these notes about Brooklyn in her classroom.

Jason and I finally got for a date night to the temple and dinner. 

Brooklyn went to a cute scientist birthday party. 

The girls started swim lessons. 

I was able to plan out Brooklyn's Valentine's Day school party and help out the day of too. 

Brooklyn won the cup and candy hearts by being the closest to guessing how many hearts were in the cup. 

We had some really warm February days and since Rita's opened early this year, we indulged. 

Laneah made this Valentine's card at school. 

My mom came for a quick visit. 

We started some work on the house. Our first project was new interior doors and Monty did not like it one bit. I found him hiding on the kitchen counter sandwiched between the kitchen aid and the toaster. 

I was able to go into Laneah's class on Valentine's Day and help some there as well. 

My family of superheroes. Sawyer got these costumes for Christmas and loves to dress up in them. 

It was a quick month and we sure enjoyed the warm weather while it lasted. 

Watkins Park

While my mom was visiting, we had some great weather and decided to go to Watkins Park. She hadn't seen it since it had been remodeled into the Wizard of Oz park. 

Sawyer's favorite place to play is the tractor. 

You can talk in one flower, and hear in another. 

Sliding down the red ruby slippers. Sawyer is not cautious, but he doesn't like things that go fast or being thrown in the air or swinging. He will go down slides now, but if he thinks it's going too fast or he is worried about it, he will put his legs out to slow him down. lol 

There is a whole section where you can make music. 

The yellow brick road and a running toddler. 

After playing at the park, we went and saw the animals. The train and carousel were still closed until late spring, but we had lots of fun and soaked up the sun and amazing weather while it lasted!

Sawyer 2 years, 6 months

Likes to fix things- "I can fix anything!" uses his drill mostly
Snug as a kitten in a mitten. Since he likes to pretend he is a cat, I changed it from snug in a bug in a rug to snug as a kitten in a mitten. 
Meows songs while I sing
"That's good" he says this all the time and it always makes me laugh. It's so cute. 
Bossy
Favorite show: Blaze
Makes up songs, sings when he colors and plays
Pretends to be a super hero, especially Batman
Extremely independent
First time Roller Skating
Says "I boinging you" when he plows into you with his head
Likes dancing to the theme songs of his shows and makes anyone in the room dance too
Went to sky zone for the first time. He didn't like jumping on the trampoline at first, but I went around with him and by the end he was really into it. Now he tells me, "I want to go to the jumpy place".

He love his paw patrol hat. When you squeeze the black part, the ears go up in the air. 

"Let me give you kiss" (his smooch face)

He actually smiles when I ask him too now (most of the time)

Sawyer is my handsome little love bug. He is still so sweet and cuddly.
