Party Day...A Typical Saturday

After Laneah's preschool graduation we went to a community block party. The Karate center there had little mini classes. Laneah was really into it. I would love for her to take karate, but she wants to do gymnastics more and we can't do both:(  She actually listened to the instructor and did a great job mirroring him. I think karate would help her confidence and her temper. Plus it is great exercise without running, which is what she wants and I don't blame her, lol.

Brooklyn tried it as well. She was so cute!

After the mini session, we went outside and enjoyed the party. They had free ice cream, pizza and french fries (the best food groups!) and a couple moon bounces, contests, give aways, music, etc.
The US Marshals had a booth and let the kids try on their gear.

Laneah got a ball for her hula hoop skills.
After playing for a while we joined Aunt Jen and Blake at a pool opening party for the pool they joined. Brooklyn went straight to the kiddie pool and was so happy. She just sat down and stuck her feet in (the water was freezing)
She just kept smiling and laughing.
The cold water didn't stop Laneah and bless Jason for getting in with her:)

Brooklyn kept sticking her tongue out for some reason.

Of course Brooklyn made friends. She is a little magnet, pulling people in. Everywhere we go, adults and children are drawn to her.

They had a blast splashing together.
But daddy had to step in. I guess it looked too much like a date;) Just kidding, this was later.

They played ring around the rosie too.
Life can be busy but it is nice when it is enjoying time with your family.
