Watkins Park

With Amanda and her kids here for the summer we made a big summer bucket list of things we wanted to do. Watkins park was one of them as Amanda had never been. We started at the Wizard of Oz park.

Then we went to see the animals.

The whole gang.

Then it was train time!

I love when he holds my handπŸ’“
For the carousel, Sawyer chose the bunny to ride on.

Brooklyn and Cooper wanted to ride together.
And Laneah and Tessa too.
We had a picnic lunch and then played at the park a little bit longer. Watkins park is so much fun!

Dance Pictures

The girls had their dance pictures done. Brooklyn was in a ballet and tap class, and Laneah took a Lyrical class this year.

I took a bunch of photos of them all dolled up while we were waiting for their turn.

My beautiful dance girls.

School Picnics and Last Day of School

Brooklyn's class picture
Laneah's class picture
Brooklyn's class picnic was on June 5th and it was a rainy day, so we had the picnic and games inside. The kids still had a good time.

Laneah's class picnic was June 6th on a sunny day so hers was outside. Sawyer had Laneah and her friends at his beck and call.

June 8th was the last day of school. It was bittersweet. The girls were ready to be done, but they both had fabulous teachers this year and were sad it was their last day with them.

Sawyer could not be left out. He insisted that I take his picture as well πŸ˜‚
Once again, the school year flew by. I can't believe they are now 2nd and 4th graders!!!! 😲

Sawyer at 2 years, 10 months

Sawyer got a tricycle from his grandmom and he loves it. He figured out the pedaling really fast.

It was so hard to leave him for the cruise, but he did great and will come with us next time. I bought him a bunch of goodies and souvenirs. He was very excited.

He likes to take selfies on my phone.
He loves playing with his toys. His favorite games involve counting, abcs and putting things in order. He likes to play legos, animals, and superheroes.
He loves umbrellas and playing in the rain.

He is still so funny with the swings at the park. He wants to sit in them now, but not be pushed at all. And when he talks about rides (like at Six Flags) he will say "I like to go slow, not fast", while rolling his arms first slow then fast as he says the words.
We have a lot of fun at the library. He likes to look at books, play with the toys and the computer.

He still prefers to shower, and he wants to hold the shower head.

Cute little bum.
Every time we go to Target, we get a small popcorn and slurpie and that keeps him happy while I shop.
We made some Father's Day plates for Jason my dad. They turned out so cute.
Sawyer is such a sweet little guy.
